We have been very fortunate at Kauri Lodge and our residents, staff and families are all safe and well.

We feel for all those who have lost so much, and we are constantly thinking of others at this time.

Kauri Lodge is independently owned and run by the Bennett family and Managing Director, Hamish Bennett, together with our caring and friendly team, has created an exclusive and pleasant family environment for all residents.

And it is a great location. Close by its well-maintained and landscaped grounds is the beautiful, birdsong-filled Riccarton Bush and it’s only a short stroll to the Westfield Mall or to the green expanse of Hagley Park or a short drive or bus trip to the City.

Because we think of all our residents as part of the family, we take a close, caring and active interest in your lives, and we’re happy to share ours with you.

Here you will make many new friends and find new hobbies and interests.

Our enthusiastic, highly-motivated team includes some who have been with Kauri Lodge for more than 15 years.

Our principal aim is to ensure your well-being and comfort at all times.

You can also enjoy complete peace of mind as all our rest home rooms, studios and villas have St John alarm medical units installed. And the internal bell system to the rest home ensures 24 hour security is available for all residents.
